Bio: After studying piano with Peter Takacs at Oberlin Conservatory and graduating with a BA in Music from Oberlin College, I attended the North Bennet St School in Boston to become a professional piano technician/rebuilder. Working as a concert piano technician and piano rebuilder since 1981, I have worked for UNC in Chapel Hill for 10 years, and presently work as the concert technician for the NC Symphony, along with the Brevard Music Center during the summer. I'm an avid classical pianist and enjoy composing piano music, practicing yoga, and attending contra dances in my free time.

Bio: Dr. Deborah Belcher holds degrees in piano from Winthrop University, Indiana University and Michigan State University, and has performed as recitalist and collaborative pianist throughout the Eastern U.S. and in Canada.
