AAPF member Matt Blanks examines the art of collaborative piano and storytelling with a presentation and performance of the greatest of all song cycles—Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe, A Poet's Love (1840). The presentation includes an overview of approaching collaborative piano from a teaching and performance perspective. Matt teams with AAPF President Dr. Leonidas Lagrimas for a performance of this hauntingly beautiful song cycle.
